Took my wiper arms off this weekend. Used an £8 puller bought on ebay. Those arms were well tight and came of with a real crack as the aluminium let go of the steel. Tapered splines give a nice tight fit! I thought I'd broken the puller at first as the noise was so loud. Heat or soaking with penetrating oil might well work eventually but wiggling wouldn't have got my arms of and something would have broken first I'm sure. The puller works with minimum of fuss and is money well spent in my book.

Hi all,
Could someone advise if the scuttle panel below the wound screen is meant to be sealed to the windscreen as I have gaps in mine.
Just asking as I’m trying to determine the location of water in the foot wells.

Jumping on this about a puller or not, I didnt have a puller that would fit but I used a hammer and a spanner like this video and it worked perfectly.

Thks for the video
Tried to get the wiper arms off today with a puller , No chance
Put the nuts back on and squirted plenty of plus gas in there , will try that trick with the spanner and see if it works
Thks for the idea
Ps, this was the puller I tried and all that happened was the end of the puller started to bend , so stopped and done a search in here

Good evening Sir
I think ur right , as I tightened the thing up and thought oh that’s good the wiper arm is coming off, Ping , nope the bloody puller is @&@&£#&@&@&#
Left the wiper alone as I didn’t wish to force it, filled the well up with plus gas and fingers crossed putting a spanner underneath will work , unless I soak it with plus gas for a few more days
Also tempted to spray the panel and do that plastic mod to help reducing water ingress
If it don’t come off it’s Mr dremal time , zip,zip
