I did notice that that is the tyre that LR chose for the Discoverys to cover the Birmingham to Beijing journey "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Mine have been fine as well.
Covered 8k in them over dry and wet roads, mud, rocks and snow.
No issues with them in off roading conditions.
I have however, killed one with a sidewall puncture due to either a sharp bit of metal or a rock when going through a water course. Was only a 1cm cut but enough to write off the tyre.
Have managed to get a half worn MTR as a spare or now as other areas on the car need attention so I don't have £208 spare for a new one. In loving memory of FA54WSK.
Rest well old friend, your work is done.

The EU tyre rating is E for both wet/fuel and the same noise as the GGAT i have. Hmm, a definate condender for replacement when these wear down. My only gripe with the GG's is wet grip and they're not too good in mud, plus maybe wobbly steering feel on the road Current: D3 TDV6 S; GGAT's, DIY 7inch Tablet mount, DIY Reversing Camera, Stage 1 remap, EGR delete

Got mine fitted yesterday and very happy thus far. Road noise is quite similar to the previous HT tires and feels very stable (although that more the wheel alignment that got done also). In the process learnt that I've got a buckled rim so will have to get that sorted... 2012 LR Discovery SDV6 SE

Is/could the fact that these tyres are only rated "S" not be a problem with insurance as the lowest speed rating for tyres to be fitted to the d3 is "H"?
