My local tesco staff are with holding stock. I thought it was happening but was confirmed yest by one member who said her colleague had said there was none when there was infact a full box. Can't see what difference it makes to them unless they are saving for someone they know to put on ebay. So if the answer is no it maybe worth trying different members of staff
I'm finding a full bottle throws the revs on when lifting off ? Over run ?
Where I would normally rely on lifting off and having the engine brake "manual" it's running over and I'm braking much more !
What's all that about ?
Cannot say I have experienced that this week Chalky or think why extra 2T would cause that, I doesn't raise the flash point of the fuel, and fuel is metered by the injectors into cylinders?Altox GSM FBH controller thread

I might have to drive thro to Gainsborough Only dead fish go with the Flow !

IIRC the cetane rating is the amount of power released like octane in petrol, not the point at which its released?

I'm putting it in a 2006 golf 1.9 PD with much more of the same, improved mpg, a bit of power, but much quiterOnly dead fish go with the Flow !

@D4JEW, I do not profess to be an expert, but as the PD engine in the vdubs also runs a HPFP sadly like most modern Diesels I cannot see it being anything but beneficial
None HPFP setups have less of a unlubricated tight tolerance issue, but again how can it harm when they'll run on veg oil or Biodiesel without issueAltox GSM FBH controller thread

Having experimented with this it is definitely quieter and smoother - sadly I know this as my autobox has a distinct rattle at 40-50 mph in 3rd gear and it is now much clearer
No idea about consumption etc.Tony
