Can anyone confirm whether any seals/internal valves etc have to be changed on the Landrover TPMS sensors when either changing a tyre (I think not) or if moving them from an old set of rims to new alloys? (not sure as to how they seal to the rims)
Thanks
yes you can get the replacement seals etc for transfering but i'm sure a bit of sealant round the joint prior to fitting should sort but depends how your tyre fitter feels
They come as a kit @ £9.85 each so not massive amounts and to be fair would be cheaper to invest in these kits than to find you have slow air leak from the transferred valves after refitting the tyres etcTLO has left the building.......

Agree with TLO if in doubt get the kits but they should transfer ok with a little care and a decent tyre fitter doing the job not a spotty faced tyre monkey
