Thanks Gareth, that was what I suspected.
I jacked the wheel up and there is some play in the upper bushes on the front.
Not sure though how much is acceptable play.

There is some movement sideways because of the bush make up but there should be no play up or down its rare for the upper fronts to go its normally the lower fronts that go..

Covered by Warranty Direct (I know as claimed successfully only 3 months ago) so you may be lucky with LR perhaps.

I had my front lower bushes replaced once under original LR warranty and twice under Ford ESP extended warranty. 3rd time dealer proactively approached me about replacement. I would attempt to get LR to cover, you might get lucky 16 D4 Landmark
