105k cambelt change

hi all.......
just purchased cambelt kit for £200 so decided to phone my local indi for a price,they quoted £350 plus vat
(think im in the wrong trade) cant believe its that much so i asked what there hourly rate was £50 with vat so im thinking this job cant take 7 hrs can it. morris marina x 2
