Help please With pulsating rev counter |

My rev counter keeps going up and down when I am moving at a fixed speed and when I go to accelatre it still pulsate up and down . Any idea

How much does it pulse by? Is it auto gbox? Does it do it more when towing/ going up hill?
Do you have warentee on it?

it does it with out towing , and its a little pulse all the time untill i put my foot down hard

Gbox oil flush fixed it, again to disco_mikeys advice

You need to undo the R/H engine mount, and jack the engine/gearbox up pretty much as far as it will go, and wiggle the sump out. It does come out, just!
You will also need some way of re-filling the gearbox, obviously My D3 Build Thread

Just to confirm, it's quite common on autos from around 80k onwards. Often must noticeable with medium acceleration especially when under load or going up hill.
Basically the transmission oil needs replacing and a mega flush is the best way to do it. Double flush is a temp fix for 15k miles or so. D3 HSE MY05 Auto
