They'd need the keys to the D3 to get it moved for the other more desirable metal. Agree with nick, they are just bits of metal, it's what insurance is for. If they want the D3, good luck to them!!

That's on the mantle piece, literally, as it's in a handy place. Might leave it with the keys.

Few years back left keys on hall table but this table was about 20 foot from front door and right next to lounge where me and family watching Saturday tea time TV.
Crack-head opportunist sneaked in, took the Galaxy then came back for the XJ
Only realised gone when went to make a cuppa and front door open and two dry squares where cars had been only a few minutes before and it had rained. Dog obviously heard but thought she just wanted a wee so let her out through lounge French windows into rear garden
To be fair cops scrambled a helicopter immediately. Galaxy found about 200m away as crow flies a few days later dumped in private housing, keys chucked away somewhere, and I had to pay for luxury of getting it towed away BEFORE cops let me have it back
Jag was at bottom of drive ready for collection later on. Stored it in nearby police station until I got new plips programmed with new codes.
The scrote was caught and had a huge list of offences; burglary, thefts, breaking and entering, drugs, etc. of which the theft of our two cars worth about £80k was "taken into consideration" and he got the proverbial slap on the wrist

Hi.
Last march at about 3am one saturday morning some broke into my house and took the keys for my BMW 5 series M sport and the wifes bag and purse. Even after that i still leave the keys on the kitchen side. I would rather them just take the car than have someone stood over me or even worse get one of the kids threatening them so i hand over the keys. Its only a car after all. Insurance emailed me the nextday saying that it was a total loss and would never be seen again. Got paid out within a week.

Have to agree that I would rather the car went than any upset to the wife and kids. It's easily replaced. I would defend my family by whatever means but the car is a lump of metal. D3 V8 SE AUTO

It was a mess but probably an improvement on ITs previous toothless, drug addicted features

Sincerely hope they get what they really deserve, rather than "now don't be a naughty boy anymore norman!"!....
I chased a guy once, around 10:30 ish on a rainy night. Afer hearing the cheeky "person" get in, I proceeded to give chase over a couple of gardens, only to slip onto my backside in someones garden, in the rain and mud... in nothing but my under-crackers.... the worst (or funniest, depending on how you look at it) part was, the garden I slipped in - They were having a small party and all witnessed my almost comical slip! .....
Even worse was... the "person" only got away with, a pillow case, the front door-mat and a DVD of...Finding Nemo!!!!
- Gutted Cheers,
Adam
