Hi there, new member here. I bought a wheel protector from Trinity after having my spare nicked in Morrisons car park. Wasn't long until the spare was gone again. I am currently keeping the replacement in my boot would like to get in back under the car. Are there any reports of the RLD protector being removed?

Not aware of any reported on this site ...they would have to be exceptionally determined TBH 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Looking at the Trinity one it looks like the bottom of the cable is accessible but protected by a 'cable protection tube' so if they can cut through the cable protection tube they have got your wheel. The RLD protector leaves none of the winch assembly or cable exposed. I suppose you could get one off but it would probably need an oxy-acetelyne torch. Cheers Ian

Agreed with all that has been said before. I have a RLD one and it's better by design.
