Nother RLD here A common mistake made when trying to come up with a totally foolproof design is to completely underestimate the innate ingenuity of fools.

If you pm Ray (RLD) he will give you the current price, they fit by lowering the wheel down and placing the winch through the protector, this in effect fills the well of the wheel preventing scum from getting to your winch with a pair of bolt cutters. It is a very simple but brilliant piece of kit Cheers Ian

Do a search on "RLD protector". You will find some pictures and Ray's details. If you cannot send a PM, you can probably email him via his profile. Unless of course he spots this thread and responds direct. Great piece of kit that prevents access to the cable and bracket that supports the spare wheel. 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

You can get one to fit a 19" wheel, just mention to Ray when you are ordering it what size wheels you have. Cheers Ian

They work by preventing access to the vulnerable parts via a thick steel cover. When you get one you will see how 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
