Shockingly easy isn't it.
There are still people on the forum who do not routinely remove the tow bar between uses. I would not dream of leaving it attached to the car; as soon as I disconnect the trailer off comes the tow bar.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Not knowing if I'm eligible to,but my key lock is stuck!
The cilinder wont turn
at all!!!
Already broken 1 key,
I need(must) take it off for an OR event this week end(obviously known why!),
but no time to purchase a new one
please advise via pm if anybody can help me!

well went outside to the lanny and the tow bar lock section is gone!! the tow bar is still there i think it may have fell out but can i just put a new lock in to remove the tow bar or is it going to be a problem
so to sum up tow bar is attached to car but has a whole were the lock part should be!!

If it is just the green bit missing then just buy a new lock. Not sure what hole you are referring to, hopefully not the hole behind the silver plate on the left as you look at it as that does not come with the green lock.

hole has had a go at nicking it. The silver metal end cap is bolted into place & the lock end has 2 bolts holding it in!
