Looking to order an MY12 after having sold the D3 a few weeks ago.
Info I have form many dealer conversations/negotiations as follows:
Uprated Engine to 255BHP/PS (not sure)
Economy up to 33/34 mpg mixed
CO2 down (cant remember figure but I think was simliar to manual D3)
8 Speed Auto
Revised gear selector using the Jag system
Revised Sat Nav, now like the Evoque/RR whatever that looks like????
Different 19"wheels
Stereo is revised Logic 7 on HSE
May also be option to spec the Black Landmark wheels but that was rumour...
Think there are also some spec changes but minor
Think also price has gone up but no one will confirm
Makes it difficult to negotiate on a car when there is no price so am trying now to negotiate a set discount....
If I learn any more will update on here but embargo is lifted July 11th and orders now will be delivered October probably.

You might want to seek clarification on that
Quote:
The High-ICE system is fitted as standard to XS and HSE derivatives.
The harman/kardon premium LOGIC7 ICE system ...<edit>... This system will be available as an option for Commercial, XS and HSE derivatives

It's all up for clarification and is all rumour until they officially launch the specs!!!!!
Just trying to communicate what I have managed to glean, but all is still rumour really unless someone can provide the LR presentation given to dealers?

Errr ...I would suggest that the quoted part of my post is not up for clarification and is certainly not rumour. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Well, Bristol Disco2, do you mean sth like this for a gear selector? Not very Disco-oriented IMHO.

Especially when the 50p diode blows and the dial jams ! Happened on the early XFs (mine included) and needed a new unit to be fitted. Best to familiarise yourselves with the part of the manual that deals with the emergency release procedure as the Breakdown guys don't have a clue. I was lucky that the local LRA guy had the part available next day otherwise itbwas a 3-4 week wait for parts.2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

You may well be right but until it is officially confirmed then you certainly cannot be sure!!!
Therefore until it is confirmed then your quote most certainly IS up for clarification and IS rumour!

No idea, not seen it, just a rumour from my conversations with dealers.
Bob golden,
Hopefully they affected only early XF cars so should have been well and truly sorted by now.

OK I'll call LR and let them know 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
I have been informed that the LOGIC7 ICE is now an option.
I also understand that the key fob will allow auto closure of the windows, atlast......The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

So is the consensus that orders placed now will be for the updated spec and delivered from October ?
Dougie - it sounds to me that is what you believe to be the case with the order you placed (earlier theis week?).
I'm just waiting for a call from a dealer with his best offer on a new XS - so I guess that he won't be able to do that until price increase is confirmed.

Just had confirmation from my dealer that my 2011 has been "delayed" to mid October so that the 2012 can be introduced. As mentioned previously, they confirmed the changes to be:
