Most are out in the field working. I only have personal stuff here, like the D3, other 4x4's, motorhome etc. The Tatra never returns to the UK, would be far too expensive at about 4 - 6 mpg.

Shame... we could have gathered around a camp fire and sang songs while you supplied us with alcoholic beverages and BBQ'd delights

The last BBQ I had, we nearly called the Fire Service out. Over did it a little. Couldn't find the village for a few days for smoke.

Maybe the thought of burnt sausages is now putting me off...
Was it the chops that caught fire ?
Sorry... are back again.

JZK: please send me the link to the tire chain manufacturer. I am dying without mud tires out here in Ohio!!
The '03 or '04 Disco II you used as an example wasn't driving a TC-equipped LR properly. He was using way too much throttle which causes the TC to disable (or give up?). The terrain he was in should have required very little, if any, wheelspin. If he had an '03, which is what I had, he is at the disadvantage of not having CDL. You *really* need to use TC well in these instances.
Where are you located? I have spoken with Dave Lucas of Slickrock and he expressed interest in making sliders, but I'm a little far from CO for a vehicle donation. Al from DAP said he'd make a set for me, but again, VT is a bit far (albeit much more doable than CO). '05 LR3 HSE
Departed: '62 Series IIA, '02 Freelander, '03 Disco

Sump/steering/axle protection are already included on the LR3 here in the states...
Sliders have not been designed yet, but the aformentioned fellas offered me free sliders if I gave them my truck (to use as a model to develop the sliders!)
TC: Traction Control
LR: Land Rover
CDL: Centre Diff Lock
CO: Colorado
VT: Vermont '05 LR3 HSE
Departed: '62 Series IIA, '02 Freelander, '03 Disco

Thanks- I'd guessed most of them (apart from the CDL).
I couldn't find a 'tongue in cheek' smiley to accompany the last post though!
