I had both for all while. Much prefered the D3 to be honest, so the FFRR went about a month ago. D3 back up for sale now as Im looking to change again.

FFRR all the way. I'd chop the D3 in for one and actually may do that next year when I change.
Far better car albeit more expensive.

I think I would consider a FFRR, but ONLY with the TDV8 engine......if the budget only gets me a Td6, then I would get a D3 without thinking twice 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG
I'm thinking of a petrol V8 with LPG. Thoughts?____

Not a bad option to be honest but don't expect to save too much money with the LPG, but I still don't know if I'd prefer an older FFRR compared to a newer D3 with the TDV6 engine...
I think that a newer D3 is probably the "better and most sensible purchase", but I've always had a soft spot for the L322 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Yes; I've already got the D3 and it's absolutely the right choice as the family car. This would be a second one... some flexibility is permissible...!____

tend to agree with most of the above ... as you already have the D3 think I'd be tempted by a FFRR.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
