Noisey wipers
Had the car since new it's 55 plate and made the noise since day 1.It sound like the rubber on the wiper blades are dragging on the windscreen(sort of like putting the wipers on when it's dry) Is their a cure for it?
Run a search - IIRC this was a common "irritation" on earlier models and there are alternate wiper blades from Bosch etc.The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

I had this problem on my D3 the same age, I changed the wiper blades for new ones from the dealer a couple of weeks ago and it is all good now. Worth the 30 some quid it cost for some peace and quiet!

DD get yea some Valeo UM665s from www.speeding.co.uk no problems with squeeking. I've had them for 3 years, set lasts me about 18 months. Can show/let you listen to mine when I'm down, assuming it's raining.

No worries! I have my uses, not many but remembering wiper code is one if them.

What are those new wipers, which build up a layer of PTFE on the screen. They were advertised somewhere in a magazine for the Disco and Defender.
