I filled up 2 days ago....circa 80ltrs....that equates to one and a half doses of Redex.....(1 dose to 50ltrs is the recommended) so,no I kept the ratio the same....but I am a fairly regular user "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I recall that was a feature on early D3's - you could program the heater to come on by leaving radio on - I tried it once and car went mental - it (timing) was removed by a software upgrade - which you might want to investigate that you have done

Not been cold enough for it to run on its own yet, it will only run from the software if I prime the fuel pump first. For about 10 seconds. it will also run from the oval timer if I've primed it before hand. When it hasn't been primed it trys to start get a bit of smoke then a no start fault it goes through its cooling stage and stops. I guess the same would happen even if the car tried to fire it up...
Also found if i blow down the inlet as its trying to start it will light up (without having to prime fuel pump), does this mean its all blocked up inside not enough air flow?
I had exactly the same issue. FBH fired up and ran for 5-10 minutes, but only after priming(I use the genious BAS remote with priming funcionality).
After adding two bottles of Pro-Tec diesel cleaner into the tank and 2-3 starting attempts w/priming on a daily basis over a 14 days period, the FBH now runs its 30 min cycle every time without priming beforehand. It's healed.
Blowing down the air inlet didn't help at all. I think priming and a good portion of patience is the key here, to soak the burning chamber and glow plug repeatedly with diesel containg cleaning agents. Land Rover - It Hurts So Good

You need an external device connected to the FBH via the pin2 connection. e.g. B.A.S. intelligent FBH controller like I have. As far as I know this wonderbox is the one and only FBH remote controller on the market that is able to trigger the feeding pump and prime the FBH.
