Yeah fine thanks, front and rear toe needed plenty of adjustment. Camber could do with a little adjustment but he couldn't undo the nut without possibly snapping something. Lloyd "Phat Face"

Now those do look really good. Was thinking of going with Pirelli ATR but these Grabber AT's look v. nice. Thanks for all the info you've put on here AJS4x4.

Surely how they perform is a bit more important than how they look?
I'm still waiting to hear if the sidewalls are any stronger than those on the AT2s? The End

Fair comment and very logical too but the hardest off-roading I am going to do is towing a horse box across muddy fields and the occasional curb climbing in Tesco's car park. So long as AT's don't drop mpg like MTR's do or sound like MTR's, I'll be happy. Pirelli ATR may be the more logical choice I guess. Will lurk and see what the feedback is.

I'm glad this thread has finally returned to the subject of tyres, in a friendly manner!
There's a double page spread on these tyres in the current (November) LRO on page 26. They are reporting that General are saying these tyres are every bit an equal to the AT2 off road, but significantly improved for on road performance, and as previously discussed, reduced noise too.
They are also claiming 50-60k miles (depending on conditions) which is good to hear, meaning it will be hard wearing like the AT2's are. I suspect that 50-60k is a bit much, but if I can get 30k out of them I'll be over the moon, as I only used to get 10k (ish) out of the Scorpions.
It's a good article, and contains some of the info that Andy posted on his site, and more besides. Also some piccies of the tyres on a D4 and a Defender. They look great, and I agree that looks aren't everything, but the evidence so far seems to show that they will perform superbly too.
Personally, I can't wait. I think they will be fantastic.

The pattern appears more open than the 19" Pirelli ATRs, especially the circumferential voids, so might not be so slippery sideways on greasy surfaces. The edge voids appear to be full depth too, unlike the Pirelli ATR's half-deph so might last longer and have more forwards grip when part worn.

Would it be a terrible idea to have these on the front and the scorpionn zeros on the back.
I want to change to an AT tyre but my rear tyres are only a couple of months old.
