SPEED RATING
I just asked my insurance company about the speed rating going from V to H and they said that it would not be a problem at all and would alter nothing with my policy. They did ask that I informed them once the H rated General AT's were fitted jus for their records.

I have contributed to this thread a good few times, almost entirely in the positive, as I have been nothing but impressed with these tyres in every way so far. On road, wet, dry, off road, around the farm, towing, and even in deep snow and ice, they have been faultless. I've had nothing bad to say about them so far.
My only concern as of today is the longevity. I measured them today, and after approx 7000 miles, they are 7.5mm remaining. Clearly they're not going to do the 30-35k that the manufacturer suggests. Given that they started at 10.5mm, I reckon I'll be lucky to see 15k out of them. I only got 10k out of my last set of scorpions, so it will be an improvement, but the AT2's did upwards of 30k.D3 TDV6 HSE 2008 Buckingham Blue (current)

i,ve done 3688 miles on mine and lost 1mm
so if they keep wearing like that and i take them down to say 2.5mm and change that should be around 29k for me i,d be more then happy with that, would be happy with 25k to be honest

looking at putting at's on, 2 now ish and probably 2 next year, fronts worn down ,rears ok on scorps, if i can get 25k out of em thats 3yrs running.
i'll be well happy.

Don't know where I'm going wrong then! If I only get 15k out of tyres you lot get 30k out of, then you lot must have been getting 60k out of the AT2's, as I was getting over 30k on those, and I'm not driving any differently! hi there red jelly i am just going to scrape 15k out of the front pair of scorp zero's, will make 20k out of the rears so hoping to to get 30k+ out of the new at's

I am just approaching 22k on my original set of Scorpians and have about 3.5mm left on front and rear. Not sure what that says about how the rest of you drive
Or what does that say about how I drive
I dont normally hang around though, but in my defence SWMBO does do about half of the mileage.

SWMBO used 2mm of tread in 5k miles when she first got the car, just lots of local roads & not a lot of motorway stuff.
Interesting comments about the AT2. I have done just over 10000 miles on mine,I average around 1k a week, some motorway, tow a lot fully laden and do some off road. I cannot see any visible wear on my tyres at all. I did 40k on AT2s on my old TD5 Disco and sold it on with tons of tread left. I really think that the ATs will last equally as long. I don't find them as good as the AT2s in the wet but they were first class in the snow before Christmas. I am fussy about tyre pressures and alignment though. It goes on the laser alignment gear every time the Disco gets a service.. which in my case is every five minutes as I work mine to death !

As well as the great feedback from the 255/55x19 General AT, we are getting just as good feedback from the other sizes available.
Still waiting on some other sizes, but 19" is OK for stock.

So are you saying you are getting bad feedback on the 255/55r19 then?

No I think andy means that apart from getting good results from that size ,they are getting good results from the other sizes available,
