HLDF Can Bootloader Error |
|
Hi everyone,
this morning I received the HLDF Can Bootloader Error on my Nav's screen.
Wiggs, would you please be so kind to send me the link to the needed file? I'm not allowed to write PMs yet.
Thanks in advance,
Achim

Thanks for that. Is there something else I should consider? I have a 2004 D3 and I switched the key to I and inserted the CD which I burnt to a normal CD-R (Verbatim, 4x).
But nothing happens. The error still appears and theres no change on the screen.
Regards,
Achim

It needs to be on a DVD bud and burn it slowly, it will take 40 mins or there abouts to complete and there should be a a bar on screen showing the progress.

With the .iso-file I received, it is not possible to burn a DVD. Anytime I try to burn this iso with Nero on a dvd, nreo says, that my compilation cannot be written to such a source. It has to be written to a CD/RW.
How can I change this iso that it is possible to write it on a dvd? I already extracted the files from the iso and burned them separately on a dvd. But even then nothing happens when inserting the dvd.
Did I receive a wrong image-file? Do I need another burning application?
Regards,
Achim

Thats strange. Yes - of course I have a DVD-Burner. But when I try to burn that .iso-file with Nero, Nero says, that this is a iso for a CD-R and not a compilation to be burnt on a DVD.
Which burning application do you use for burning the iso?
I've never had any problems burning iso-file to a DVD or CD.

Achim

Now it was successful. I took DVD Decrypter instead of Nero. The update took about 40 Minutes. After that, everythink works fine again.
Thanks & regards,
Achim
