post enhancement throttle issues??

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed any throttle issues post enhancement?

symptoms I have been having are an intermittent problem (so far only after cold start).

The vehicle behaves as if it is in limp home mode ... i.e. you put your foot down to pull away and there is virtually no acceleration, releasing the accelerator and pushing it as far down as it will go brings the power back, but this has happened about 3 times in the last 2 weeks and today nearly caused me to get hit pulling off my drive!

Dealer will 'look at it' when in for other warranty work but thought it would be one to mention and see if anyone else has had this happen and maybe like me dismissed it the first couple of times it happens.

mine has done it but not until a while after enhancement. Vibrating on start up and a couple of days ago on a cold start (3 deg C) would not start until fourth time.
no power on take off at times also when slow uphill turn corner and press accelerator-nothing- keep pressing and it goes. Confused

Take it to the dealer or get LRA to do it and ask them to check the throttle linkages. This is not fixed with s/w. Mine used to do this until the linkages were sorted.

This is normal in cold/cooler weather... and usually includes the very loud whooshing too (viscous coupling on the fan or something - TFC help). All returns to normal a few seconds after you've started when the engine starts to warm.

We all talked this to death last winter.

If its not been especially cold then maybe there is a fault but I have experienced this on occasion pre and post enhancement.

From what I gather the enhancement would not affect this behaviour.

The poor starting is not normal... mines always fired 1st time.

Confused there is a new TSB about this issue. and is lonked to the problem with an uneven idle speed (also noted a few times on coldstarts)

The difficulty as i see it is that the enancement fixed a similar failure to pick up issue, so that may have been masking other problems as per the recent TSB.

to be honest I posted that message back in july.... the world has moved on since Laughing Wink
