Hi Wiggsy, yes, I'm in the LowLands, please indicate what the extra will be for the postage to The Netherlands. Can I send it over via PayPal also ? And eventually I will need return address for the old unit...
BTW. I'm looking into a DVB-T receiver with subscription card for the MOST based display (my rig is a 2006 RR Vogue). I've come up with 2 items from Clifford:
http://www.clifford.nl/nl/products-multimedia-tvtuner.html
http://www.clifford.nl/nl/products-multime...rover.html OPV-2LR
- but over here it's going top cost an eye watering euro 1800 + fitting ! Any ideas on that one ? I see more MOST based systems popping up in component shows, but not available in the ICE shops yet
Cheers,
Kevin.

Hi Wiggsy,
yep just checked it out (brrrr !) it's a 500045 (same as in the instruction notes), so I reckon we're good to go !
Have sorted the PayPal for the international postage also...
Looking forward to BlueTooth nirvana
Cheers,

Hi Wiggs,
The guys over at RRSport.co.uk recommended that I talk to you. I have a 2005 Range Rover Sport HSE and it has the built in bluetooth (Nokia connector dock under the center arm rest, call buttons on steering wheel, etc).
Untill recently it was semi-working with an iPhone and Windows Mobile phone over Bluetooth.... by semi working I mean that you had to manually pair every time you got in and the phonebook didnt function.
However, last week the BT simply stopped working. I tried to pair it, and nothing - no BT devicies are visable. Once in a while it does show up as a visable device, I try to pair and it then just hangs at connecting. Its doing this with three different phones so I know its not the phone.
I was wondering if you have any idea what may be causing it and if your refurb service with the updated firmware may fix it? If so, any idea how I get to the module on a 2005 Sport?
Thanks in advance,
Will
Edit: after removing the battery live for a few mins and reconnecting its all ok again. However, I will be in touch soon to buy an upgrade so that it auto pairs.

I would check you haven't got any water ingress round the Bluetooth module ... Yours is located in tbe boot ... Drivers side .. Behind a small removable panel ( its quite common on tbe FFRR but there's are mounted on the opposite side )
Johndixon1967
Unfortunatly you have the aftermarket kit .. Which is very limited what it can do when working.
You cannot update the software on yours .
Best bet would be pull tbe kit out and fit the factory version .., although I suspect you would need a couple of software updates on the screen and radio due to your car being one of the first G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Ignore the water bit ... It's not relevant in your case ( my mistake as I had addressed both issues to you ...)
Being as you already have some bits you can use ... Proberly going to be in the region of £200
I do have an aftermarket Bluetooth module here if you want to try it ... I have no means of testing it ... But it will only take a few mins to swap over G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
