If anyone is up for a group purchase, it might be best through Euro/UK distributors, as the response from frontrunner to an enquiry on the racks (specs, pictures) received a fairly basic response - the picture is the one on their website:

Yes, "come right" is a very interesting local phrase, isn't it? It's not quite Afrikaans, we would probably say it's Safrican.
Kinda like "howzit", "bru", "dop" etc.
By the way, I broke my roof rack brackets due to too much flexibility in the rails (the Landy part) during our recent trip, as I mentioned somewhere earlier in this thread. Got them welded by a real bush mechanic. When I got back home, went to FrontRunner to discuss a remedy, and they replaced the Landy rails with their own, as well as some of the brackets which had failed, at no cost, and without a question. These are guys who really back up their product! They also have their own rear-door ladder now available, as well as awesome drawer systems for the boot.

Sorry, Baben, it's easy to be misunderstood with text postings, lacking as they are any intonation and emphasis.
I think the front runner racks sound excellent and your experience shows that they are a company that takes pride in producing a practical product. It's also very good that they should produce a set of items for a car that is still quite new and not ubiquitous like defenders or discovery I & IIs (or 1 & 2s).
I'm interested, but when spending a good few hundred pounds (or thousand rand), I'd like to know some details about the product. In my case, it's whether it would foul the PTI 'upturned hull' on the roof.
Often, when contacting a distributor, the response to detailed questions concerning a product is to refer to a fact sheet (pdf is popular) provided by the manufacturer. I'm happy to get the tape measure out and work out if it's going to fit.
I'm just a little disappointed that a manufacturer hasn't either got information to send or at least a 'we're working on it' response. I'm not 'having a go' at them and don't mean to upset you with a dig at local phrasing.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Seriously, though, I don't think the rack is low enough to the roof or far enough back to foul the "mouse", if this is what you are worried about. Have a look at
Although I don't have the rodent, you can see how much space is between the rack and the roof. Unfortunately our rack is off at the moment, otherwise I could measure for you.
