So have spoken to the main dealer, Beadles, who have co firmed mine has had the recall done in Jan 11. She has advised I speak to LR customer services direct to see if they will look I to it seeing as it appears its a very simar problem as the recall. Sighs

I seam to remember that the modification can be applied more than once if the problem returns. So you should be ok.

Brilliant thx, mine is currently having a new master cylinder fitted under warranty as it failed this week completely. This definitely isn't the end of this problem though I don't think sadly. As I now have some warning lights appearing as well. Sighs loudly.

hi boatman
my landy came back from the dealers
they have fitted the modified brake servo pipe
looking at it , seems they have also replaced the servo and master cylinder
didn't realise they did all that under warranty
will take some pics in the daylight for u
got the free check report , everything was fine apart from them
saying i needed a new turbo , however when i plugged my iid in it came back as a turbo actuator sticking
wonder if people have been conned into buying a new turbo when in fact it's just the actuator sticking
there's no other iid fault codes, no smoke
ref ur lights what codes are coming up plse
meant to ask , ref the iid can it be plugged into other D3s plse, if so will have restricted function whilst plugged into another d3
reason i ask is if someone local to me needs there disco plugged in i'm happy to do that if it helps
FOC of course , as i'm always happy to help a fellow member where i can
ps, must say beadles were fantastic, they collected the disco and dropped it off for me , there's not any grease on the steering wheel or gear lever , for them to honour the recal on a 2005 vehicle was in my opinion very good

Hi Gstuart, thx for the update and really pleased you finally now have it sorted..... I wish I could say the same. Mine will definitely bhave to go over to Beadles I am sure just as soon as I get it back!
My warning lights are coming in with the message HDC. I have read a little and could be lots of things, one being that the brake lights set the fault off, which mine definitely will as they are permanently on. I would be really honored if I could tie up with u at some stage to talk over the problem you have had and maybe use your diagnostic tool if need be. I am happy to give my number if that is allowed on here?
Best regards for a trouble free Xmas. Paul
