I've fitted mine - they look 8)
Did anyone encounter any alarm problems after fitting the LEDs ? Maybe a coincidence but the same day I fitted the LED side lights then my alarm keeps going off intermittently.
Maybe the bonnet switch was damaged? Any ideas where that would be ?Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

Could be, there's no reason why changing the bulbs should cause any problems with the alarm.
The bonnet switch is under the drivers side bonnet catch, (on a RHD car,) it's a little micro-switch moulded into a plastic housing with a springy steel bent lever on top, not an uncommon failure, cheap and easy to replace.Clive

Did you use the link that was posted to buy them?
if it still charges 4gbp then call and ask them to change it for you

It could be me but at the beginning of the over complex buying procedure on your website it showed a Paypal logo but after completing the 452 pages of information input and finally arriving at checkout I was unable to pay with the said Paypal method, why? And what's more I didn't get a crystal or even a glimpse of an annoying bold headed bloke playing a harmonica
Can you just stick 2 in a jiffy envelope and I'll stick a crisp brown note in the post?
Hi all
sorry for going quiet on you all. just dont have enough hours in the day recently.
I will look into Paypal and the 452 pages of info
Of course making it easier to pay with debit card is better for us as the 5% paypal fees hurt
If you didnt get them yet you can email the money to sales@hids4u.co.uk and put your details in the email and i am sure you will get them soon
But if you can please order via the site if possible
I will check to see if we can get red ones and also will look at doing a bulk buy to change all interior lights and number plate lights - not having replaced the interior lights in mine i didnt realise there were so many on there!
Thanks again all for your custom
Regards
Ian

for such a small item we can improve on the postage - i will check but unsigned for will be a few pounds i would imagine even to down under
i havent used these in the interior but did change them in the last car and there was a big improvement. Helps load on battery as well with the small power consumption
There is not an issue with these lights in the same housing has halogen nor xenon (halogen gives off more heat than xenon by the way)
I upgraded one of the cornering lights and h7 main beam - i will post picks and still need to measure light output - but i can say in short for looks it makes no difference but the light output is better. Will keep testing the bulbs for you all so you dont waste money on them trying

I changed the 3 main interior lights (one in each row that come on with the doors open) and it really looks great, significant improvement. Was nearly as chuffed as by the ones in the sidelights.
Gonna buy more soon to do the lamps in the bottoms of the doors and footwells. I think at the last count to do sidelights, numberplate and all interior lights including glovebox is 20 bulbs

Got a pair today- v bright White light that complements the xenons. Good tip about checking the polarity before re-fitting the headlamp unit. Otherwise easy to fit. Excellent service from hids- received bulbs in about 30hrs of ordering!

Just fitted our sidelights, look very good
One of the bulbs was a bit reluctant to fire up on 'all sides' so will have to keep an eye on that one

I have just tried as well, the button to add to basket appears to be missing on my desktop PC. It is there if I use my I Phone but I have the same problem, nothing in the basket when you get there. Hope I haven't missed the boat again Joined the BMWX5 45e group
