LED Upgrade bulbs - SKU codes |
|
led modules -interior lights - centre console front LEDMOD30WW
led modules - rear boot light (and puddle lights if you wish) LEDMOD12WW
Front side lights, number plate lights, puddle lights, glove box, footwell and interior lights all use this bulbs http://www.hids4u.co.uk/501-led-bulb-long-...white.htmlHowever, for puddle and middle interior i recommend the modules above!
On the LED ligth front when upgrading the rear or front lights its worth noting - red led lights in red lamps makes for brighter and deeper red
Likewise amber More of the light passes through and less is filtered out by the lense.
rear indicator bulbs - one and only to go for 382LED92ULTA-1
front indicator 3156LED92A
stop/tail are 380 not 382 bulbs - 382 being single filaments. 380LED92ULTR-1
rear fog also would need 380LED92ULTR-1 (but not really worth doing)
reverse are 382 - 382LED92ULTW-1
front spot - foglights? or corner lights? fog are h11 corner lights h8 FOGH11LED-1 or FOGH8LEDULT-1
hope that helps

I put the others I mentioned in this evening and they seemed fine, not too bright although blue white rather than warm white, just saw your previous post and wondered why you recommended, Quote "interior lights - centre console front LEDMOD30WW" thought I was missing a point as they would not fit in mine, so maybe a D4
I only did the middle front and centre ones, did you mention you could get red ones for the middle sides, may be useful with the kids messing about at night?

6000k - but some MOT stations dont like 6000k and also they make your xenons look yellow
i prefer 5000k

'The cart does not contain products to which the coupon can be applied'
Is this right with these items? Its all in the grip of the Tyre Fitters hand!

My order arrived in the post first thing Yesterday Monday, So thats an order late on Friday for a delivery first thing Monday morning
Excellent service !
The 5000K Sidelight towers have replaced my original LED's which are a far better match for the standard Xenons.
The existing LED's which i removed from the sidelights have found the way into the front coutresy cluster, one in the middle and one in the drivers side ! the passenger side map reading light i replaced with a red LED, mainly because the middle row courtesy lamps have them in either side for my son who thinks he is traveling in the back of a chinook
because the middle row is angled they are not intusive at all !
So onto the rear 12 LED loadspace light
That is an excellent modification and totally transforms the lighting, it is brilliant white light that illuminates the whole area.
I,ve toyed with this for some time and i am glad that i have now done this with the dark nights are upon us.
Thanks HIDS4U and i apreciate the effort and commitment into getting my items despatched on time and for supplying a tried and tested item. Only dead fish go with the Flow !

This is the sort of thing I was looking to do but am a little conufused as to what i need.
I have an 07 Disco HSE with standard Halogen lamps. I am lookign to chnage the bulbs to Xenon type bulbs. I don't want to do any complicated wiring - just change the bulbs. Can you advise me what bulbs i require for headlight and side light?
Many thanks
Barry

I bought these off Amazon.com for £29 a pair : Philips 12972-XVS2 H7 X-Treme Power 100% Kit, I put them in the main beam as in the driving lights they made no difference really, but I guess you could buy two pairs but at the price my halogens will do nicely thanks
They are pretty good but beware prices are all over the place for them, some selling for £59 for the same thing

Fitted my HID headlight and all round LED lamp kits today, only one left is the front indicator which is out of stock at the moment - look superb!
I would like to do the number plate and the puddle lights but not sure what to use, do I use the 12 LED strips or can I use one of the advertised complete units, or are they just for Audi, BMW, etc?
