Apologies sorted now. You need to click a link at start of thread rather than goto website direct to get the £9.99 price. SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

Just to let everyone know... my Disco failed it's MOT today

Reasons for refusal of a Test Certificate
001 Nearside front position lamp(s) incorrect colour (1.1.A.2c)
002 Offside front position lamp(s) incorrect colour (1.1.A.2c)
Easy switch to put normal bulbs back and get a Certificate, but some testers are clearly getting picky!2005 D3 HSE 2011 D4 Landmark 2016 D4 HSE Lux

Must have been a picky MOT inspector then - unless of course you've fitted the chavvy blue LED's instead Clive

Not even close to chavvy blue... just slightly less yellow to match the xenons. I would have called them very white! So yes he was a total but I was told this was something they've been instructed to look out for?2005 D3 HSE 2011 D4 Landmark 2016 D4 HSE Lux

I've just realised that you live quite close to me, which MOT station do you use? - could be one to avoid
Just for the record, I normally use one in Yateley, he does quite a few Land Rovers for local traders so he's very familiar with them and sensible about it.Clive

Let's just say it was a main LR dealer who was also doing lots of other work on my D3. I'm reluctant to name them on here because the service I've received from them has been superb and the quality of their work exceptional. The last thing i want to do is cause bad feeling over such a minor matter when my car runs better than most brand new ones!!! (and I definitely would use them again).

Fair enough - as you say it's an easy switch to put the 501's back in to get the ticket.
It just bugs me though with all this regulation and stuff we're subjected to these days, if the lights work, they're not too bright so as to dazzle or so dim as to go unseen and they're white - what's the problem, even if they're not CE marked, I'm sure they will be far more reliable that the incandescent ones.
Common sense - where
OK, sorry, rant over. Clive
