The rule that prevents advertising, which covers either direct or indirect marketing.
It is my opinion as site admin that the culmulative posts in this thread were getting towards being an advert so I made a small modification to allow the thread to remain on the site as genuinely useful information.
Discussion regarding ITG filters has taken place before on DISCO3 a while ago so all the information is already about

Could have been worse Paul it could have been completely removed.  Got to keep to the rules or 'other' manufactures would give the site owner a sh*t loads of grief.

I understand where you are coming from, but I feel you were a little over zealous in this instance. After all, one of the purposes of forums like this is for fellow owners to share information.
As far as I am aware, non of the contributors to this thread are suppliers or have anything to gain from promoting a product.
Just my opinion FWIW.
