Its the knee operated lever to open up the air duct, the 1st time the other drivers have had a chance to see for themselves.

MacLaren have found a loop hole in the rules and their car has been deemed legal 8)

Not a loop hole they just thought of it first, if it works and gives them some advandage I feel other teams will do it as well.

Like the 4 pedals they had a while back, that got outlawed. Twas when they ABS was banned, so MacLaren had their drivers Coultard and Mika use the pedal in conjunction with a switch that applied traction in a corner Laughing Laughing

I am not so sure this adaptation of the rules will last unless the MacLarens sand bag tomorrow, the other teams will need to spend millions to catch up on design which is the reason why the spending and testing caps are in place.

Time will tell

The British one will be so they are saying, but the Season will have to wait to 2011 aparently. Something to do with the TV footage being done locally race to race Question

Could they make Formula 1 any more boring

Probably only by banning pit stops altogether

No strategy of fuel and tyres = spectator boredom

I think I'll stick to watching qualifying much more excitment

Have to agree, watched the entire BOREDOM...................................only one pit stop to change tyres in the early stages, then 3/4's of the race just trundling around.

FIA have ruined the sport Evil or Very Mad

oh good...then I didn't miss anything today...
The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Yes you did!!! a very boring race Rolling Eyes Whistle

Watching the post race programme even Martin Whitmarsh said it was boring for the spectators. They are looking to make two pit stops mandatory now, I don't see how that will make it any less boring than they have made it

I think they should have refueling and tyre changes during the race but limit the size of the pit crew as they do in one of the american racing series makes it very interesting when you are only allowed 6 - 10 pit crew to change tyres and refuel the car
