how wide is the FR2 SC grill centre piece, exactly the width and depth of the Disco 3 Grill louvres, would the bastardised combination of the two look exactly like your pic ) ?
I can get D4 grills for £110 (+ P&P)if anyone want ones, can't guarantee what colours so if you're after a specific colour you may have to wait a while for it to be availableThe End

Richardch if you took your time with it then it would look really good...May need fibreglass & filler to make it look OE but you wont know till you get both parts

If you look on ronp's photoshop - the LR badge appears pretty large. With the width of the 3 horizontal bars on the D3 grill - I assume that the FL2 grill would not be wide enough to extend beyond them. I presume that the 2010 RR grill is wider. I wonder if that would extend beyond the 3 horizontal D3 bars? If it's also too tall you could eliminate the the top horizontal peforated bar on the RR grill.

Slimer, re D4 Grill I am very interested in going ahead but would like to see a comparison of dimensions between the D3 and D4 item before I shoot ....

The LR grill badge is much larger than the D3's.
The FL2 honeycomb spars on their own are shorter than the D3's central spar.
However Matt's idea could work using the wider are of the FL2 grill and grafting onto the D3.
Or for a different look. grafting on a single FL2 spar to the central shortened D3 spar.
Or again for a different look
Use the honeycomb mesh from the bottom of the FL2 front end.
Keep in black or paint in grey or silver.
Remove the central D3 spar and insert the rectangular panel into the D3 grill [HST style]...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Slimer, I would but my dealer is about an hour away, this info must be available on the web OR does anyone have a Disco 4 yet ? do they come painted for that price i.e if I wanted one in standard Disco 3 Silver ??

Yes they do come painted Richard but as I said if you want a particular colour you may have to wait until I can get one in, if you're not fussed you can have what ever is available at the time. D3's have two versions of sliver, D4's only have one (so far) so the only silver they'll be available in is ZermatThe End
