Who's this 'we' I seem to recall you were taking photo's and 'we' were pulling on the rope to dislodge either stuck vehicle without wheel rotation digging either of them further into the sand - shortly after you got the photo of the 'safe' plasma rope breaking for which i'm thankful i've seen a good few break but never got a photo of the aftermath

That's what I said: 'we' were pulling on the rope, whilst 'I' took the pic.
It would have been too much luck to catch the plasma rope on film as it broke, but I won't be standing anywhere close to one under tension in the future. It most certainly did not "drop harmlessly to the ground".
