ATR's are the tyre of choice for sand and general road driving, no damage whatsoever bar a few minor sidewall scrapes (which could well have happend in the French equivilent of Tesco's carpark) Even with Glynnes loading they performed well with no overheating or sidewall damage, next trip i'll be running them providing I can get hold of a 2nd spare

Already on my shoutcast server list! internet radio is on in the house between 1000 and 1600, outside of that it's Radio 1.... need to get a bigger iPod or install a SAN in the car

That's the easy bit, the T6 link is proving problematic with the latency of VSAT

I'm so so so envious, these trips look consistently incredible. The photos are just breathtaking. It's itching at my sense of adventure & yearning to drive and explore Africa more than ever.
The way things are working out here, it seems unlikely we'll get to do it as a family in our D3.
If there's ever a need for photographer or co-driver, when I can escape work/study commitments, I will pay my way in a flash 2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7
