Martin has asked me to clarify the LED situation, however I think you guys have answered the question while I was off site yesterday.
Basically, the LED's only come with Xenon lights (adaptive or non-adaptive) which is a standard feature on the HSE. Therefore to achieve LED's on GS/XS, Xenon's would need to be added as a factory option.
Hope this helps.

James, yes it does, to a point.
But what about the style/dimensions of the lights on the XS and GS.
Are they the same as the HSE or are they like the D3 ones in DJ's image above.
ie smaller grill ingress light, therefore different grill.

Slightly but kind of relevant nonetheless
what we could really do with is one of our dealer sponsors who has a D4 in their possession taking the grill off and offering it up to a D3 and telling us categorically whether it fits or not, as that will probably go some way to answering some of the light cluster questions as well I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Personally I reckon there will be an aftermarket D4 style grill for the D3 along shortly.

As well as a nice decal with a picture of an air intake on for the passenger side I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I'm not sure if there is a difference, but we already have an HSE here and should have an XS (without Xenon's) soon so will certainly be happy to compare the grille/light sizes for you.
I'll also send an email to LR so see if someone 'technical' can answer the question, and will report back.

Well, if the lights are LED and non LED that surprises me somewhat considering that LR have gone to the effort of designing a new 'signature' face for Discovery... and what they say in their launch kit.
DJ, that looks like the XS image LR have on their website... so if its a shot of a press photo of a GS, then I am even more confused
We will have to wait and see... maybe TLO knows and could look on the parts computer thingy.
Mind you, if they are the same as the current headlights, maybe we can move our current Xenon's to the D4 halogen models

I don't think there is much joking in this thread, it would seem there may be some confusion over the headlights. If you have placed an order and are in any doubt, consult your dealer I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

can come with that crap those old lights? or is it just an error on the English site?

I'd be happy not to have stoopid leds on the front - I've only seen them on Audis where they look hideous (IMHO). I hate them so much I'd even consider having a D3 instead... (not that I've got the cash for either at the mo )
