The quotes from the official LR press / dealer launch material. Not sure where Ron was quoting from.
Unless LR have changed their minds on the new design, I cannot for the life of me imagine they will have one model that is not carrying all the new design cues. Makes no sense.
The website (as for most car / any other product manufacturers) has heavily Photoshop'd images and some have probably slipped through the net and will be corrected in time.

Nope - none at all
It reminds me of the D3 launch - nearly every single article had photos of the revolutionary 4x4 info on the main screen and LR and all the journos made a big fuss about it......
In the end, it was only an option on the top-end models and (at least over here) probably only a small percentage of the D3s on the street had it fitted from the factory.

I was wondering if it was an engine thing... is the new 3.0 small enough to fit behind the shorter wings/headlights but the old 2.7 a bit longer? - In which case they'd need to keep the old mounts going until they can drop the 2.7.
Just a thought?

XTC is playing with a load of D4's at the mo, they're probably all HSE's but if there's a lower spec one in the mix maybe he can supply a pic or two The End

helloooo
about those pics :

and
they look like quick photophed pics, as i doubt not only LR would make a copycat 2010 grill for the D3 halogene headlamp + a complete copycat bumper to fit as this is not the same bumper as the D4, see the lip under the D4 headlight and the pics above ...
My guess is they did not have any pics of the low spec D4 so they mocked up one and since it may be much easier // realistic to fit D3 lamps pics on a D4 that to "un-LED" an HSE D4 photo
just my deux centimes !
PS : as a matter of fact, my D3 headlights may look more like the actual S speced D4 that this LR cheesy mock up

The brakes on the armoured Discovery have large black painted 6 pot calipers, much better looking than the Brembo's, the discs are also a larger diameter.

The quotes from the official LR press / dealer launch material. Not sure where Ron was quoting from.
Here it correctly states "New signature LED lighting incorporating the unique Land Rover 'night time' signature."
Land Rover's website is and has always been riddled with conflicting and inaccurate information about its product
I still cannot see why the new 'signature' headlight design would differ on each trim level... The D3's headlights look essentially the same with or without Xenon. Why change this ??
