Where can I source a single spare wheel rim to fit my Disco

I am looking for a single spare wheel rim & tyre for purposes of a second spare for going off - road - where is the best place to source a wheel rim that fits a disco 3 in Sydney? (currently have 18 inch alloys).

Last time I went there, Claremont Tyres in Bankstown had loads of them - circa $150 per wheel from memory for 18's. Ph 9793 3155
Unfortunately what I want (one extra 17 inch LR wheel) seems much harder to come by, please let me know if you happen to see one anywhere.
Good luck

Next to nothing for D3's out here Andy. There are very few of these vehicles around Oz.
Ebay UK is fine for light stuff , but weight is a no-no.
A really big joke about buying anything second hand here is that most
cheeky bast.ards want what they paid for it new ...... even when it's broken.
Punctured tyres , dead Engel fridges , bashed wheels , rusty metal bits .......
They wouldn't bin it or give it away on pain of death ! It's been like that
for all of my 22 years here. If I don't buy new , I don't buy .......

Maybe we should do a group buy of all the cheap 17" alloys from the UK? Twisted Evil

Shipment will be the killer though...

Jonesy63, I am with you on that! I have previously wondered about conscripting a UK forum member, get them to collect 4 or 5 sets of 17inchers, and then send them over... worth the bother? Any UK volunteers?

Nope - the UK was (is still) full of them, which is why they shipped them over in the first place! Ner Ner Rolling with laughter

It seems that most tyres I see would be happiest on 8" wide rims. Does anyone know of an aftermarket 17"x8"wheel with the correct offset. Performance has an 8" alloy with 38p instead of 50p offset.
