I can't see how you would fit any bigger than 265/70/17 under the arches. 265 tyres are approved to run on 7-9 inch rim widths, so I deliberately worked to keept std LR rims.

Mr Andrew - 265/70R17's may well fit, but are illegal in NSW and VIC. That will void insurance and based on my interactions with my stealer - could void warranty on suspension. Yes - they looked at the size of mine before agreeing to claim it on warranty.

245/70R17's are happy on 7" factory alloys or aftermarket steel wheels - and are legal.

If you live in other states - sure... go for the bigger size, but I wouldn't risk it here in the police states. Rolling Eyes
