Just a little and probably out of topic comment...
Was ouit on my way to Amsterdam for a show...
60 Km from Amsterdam; got an error message... you know the kind of trad ones, "suspension down, special programs off and so on..."
Kept on running (a bit rough on low suspension mode)
in the parking lot, I gave a try to the MSV2 extreme...
Read the errors; didn't understand what they meant...
Cleared the error... no problem
Went home cool and quiet.
Mission accomplished...
Thx A second D3 ! This time with all whistles and bells (Auto, 7seats, Diff Lock, RAI, all kinds of protections, winch, Extended range tank, iPod adapter....)
First time twice the same car ! and first time third car of the same brand !
I'm loving it !

Wiggs, there's a link for 1.27 beta version on BBS in one of the postings. Are all the 'bits' in that or is it best to hang on for the full release Faultmate MSV2 EXTREME

Gabi posted it by accident - it's now been removed.
Anyway, it was only one of the many patches for the beta version - not the full thing.
I think BBS will release 1.27 very soon 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Guys
What can i tell you
It's so close, i can smell it !!!
But i gotta give my crew space to do what they do.
I have secured a mid to end of next week promise, but more than most i appreciate this is tough.
There is so much that has to be in place that you have to respect it takes its own sweet time

Brumlee, you are just plain spoiled
Navydevildoc, welcome to the club.
I know that it's near impossible to list even a fraction of the features that any owner of one of our products gets, And trust me, i have been trying for years to find just the right words to explain or convey what you now know with absolute certainty.
But ultimately, no matter how hard you try your best to convey it, there are those that know, and those that don't yet know and are still waiting to discover or thinking about it.
1.27 will contain shed loads, as will no doubt 1.28, 1.29 and so on.

Can you run any of these remotely (over bluetooth i guess to a PC) and if so, does the key have to be in the ignition ? There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

I run my MSV-2 over bluetooth.......I connect the MSV-2 to the D3 via the ODBII lead and then just use my laptop to connect to the MSV-2 via bluetooth....
It works very well...in fact it works that well that I now also use bluetooth on the CarPC to connect to the Faultmate too 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Unnecessary quote removed
Sounds good, does the ignition need to be switched on in order to read/manipulate ECU values or can everything be done with the car locked and inactive ? There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song
