Having had my spare stolen last week my local dealer now informs me that the Landrover supplier of the winch has gone out of busness and there is no immediate prospect of any being available.
How are they holding the spare wheel on in the Discovery 4, RRS etc then ???
Call round a few dealers and see if they can help.

Is yours any cheaper than the one being sold by MRH?

I don't know what MrH is offering, but RLD's offering is sturdy, well finished & simply does the job. His service is more than excellent too.
The important thing is to install one soon - too many people have put if off, only to find that their spare wheel is missing, and they need a new winch.

Top notch service from Uncle Ray as well. My wheel protector arrived before I had paid him.
Service is that fast.
Cheers

My goodness - they managed to get two wheels but not the spare!!
I've a question - delivery to Switzerland would be how much? Or alternately how much to the north-east of England?
And I'd like a blank one, I'd be spraying my own design on it Something like this
A bit off topic but question to LHD, I have only had my D3 for just over a week, it has the same tow bar as fitted in your photo, I can see the green fitting for the key but not sure if it is detachable, it looks like it is all bolted together, am I wrong in thinking that the tow ball part can't be taken off just with the key :?

I'll reply to my own post to get the count up.
Ray, you are on to a winning product! I'm recommending you to all my disco owner friends before (in most cases) they are targeted by the thieving melon farmers in our part of the world.

As disappointed as I am that some criminal jack off has nicked my spare wheel, it's very therapeutic to be able to share this experience with other afflicted individuals. I'm sure the wine also helps.
It's a bit of a shame they don't just knock on the door and ask for an honest days work. Surely that's worth more than selling a STOLEN spare wheel on ebay for £50?
