I'd say it's going to be hard to make any guess more reliable than, "it's a D3". That front-end is pretty heavily masked up:
However, the front wing does seem to have a taper as it approaches the headlights and is that a PDC sensor peeking through the fake bumper?

That bonnet may not be the final item. They may have fitted a current bonnet, and made the disguise to fit it. I reckon its going to be very different in the flesh.

OK I agree about the front wing differences - so if you're desperate i'm sure front wing panels are not exorbitantly expensive Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Wheels look cool...
I might go out and put masking tape on mine.
Looks like a quick and easy mod for that up-to-date look?

Car magazine are claiming a scoop ...but this isn't MY10
That kind of panel gap is "within tolerance" on a Defender I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

The front is the exact same as r/sport as a bloke in my village brought it home on trade plates at weekend assuming it was diesel as it did not have supercharge exhaust.at back...

If the CAR one is not a scoop, who has done the body kit for the MY09 in the pictures ? has it been done by LR to put the car spies of the scent for a couple of weeks ?
I have a concern that the Land Rover brand is fast disapearing under the Range Rover One, the LRX is going to be a Range Rover now i believe, the FL2 is a Baby version of the RRS and it looks like the D3 is going to follow the same theme.
it will be called the Range Rover 7 next Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

They are all made by Land Rover (the company) and RR is a sub brand
The body kit has been available for yonks TBH... and I doubt this one has been done to spoil the spy shot peoples day... someone got excited as they are thankfully quite a rare sight.

Still think we are seeing the Range Roverisation of the LR Range (no pun intended) and the "Land Rover for the next Millenium" behind the D3 styling is being dropped for in my view a more "wilmslow" -fussier look .Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

They will build whatever they see people wanting to buy at the end of the day... don't forget, off road hardware and getting your LR muddy and into places you really wouldn't take any other vehicle is a very small part of the overall LR market these days. The world has moved on from their reason for starting the company in the first place.
If BMW and Audi etc etc are making money selling premium brand SUV's and small soft roaders... then LR would rightly want a piece of that market too.
Discovery is going up market just like Freelander did... as long as they keep its off road prowess in place, the small percentage of owners like some of us here, will keep with the brand.

The discovery is not going that upmarket when 7.5 k is being reduced of the new price. the problem with this move away from its roots is that the market they are leaving is being filled by Toyota et al. I work a good deal in the Middle East and the only Landies you see are pose mobiles. the real stuff is done in Hi-Luxes and LandCruisers. The local farmers around this part of scotland all now drive around in L200s rather than defenders.
The problem in LR chasing the X5 and Q5 market is these people will only switch out of these premium brands if Land Rover continue to offer credible vehicles and brand rather than copying them.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
