CFB - was that over the phone or at your local NFU office?
I'm 30 and pay a little over half that But we're rural - maybe that makes a difference.
When we used to live in a small market town, it was much more expensive. However, I'd argue that was safer, because where we are now is quiet and reasonably remote. Crazy!
Definitely worth ringing them or visiting them.

Try LV for car insurance. They knocked off 30% from my non-Disco insurance - and it was previously with Tesco who are generally pretty cheap on "standard" cars. Not tried the Disco yet as not due until next year. Don't know about off-road etc etc.
For insurance geeks out there, the reason is they are pricing off the old CSMA (Civil Service Motoring Association)book which has historically very low claims experience....

NFU refuse to cover my Postcode area. If they did it would cost £1280

Land Rover quoted myself £450 fully comp, with them taking my 70% NCD over.

£750? You're lucky, my friend. I dream of paying only £750.
