Nope , not yet. I was waiting for the morning rush to pass and then i will give them a call.
Wonder if they will get if i ask them to check the rubbers and the fuel pump

When I was looking through the fuses , I pulled the pollen filter and was shocked at how much gunk was in it. Way more than the air cleaner . The air cleaer was still in good condition where as I would be able to get at least a 1/4 cup out the pollen filter. I think that the snorkel makes a huge difference.

Spoke to the dealer.
Seems like it was the fuel pump. New pump will arrive tomorrow and we will see how it goes. They dont know about the pump recall.

The f ckers are probably playing dumb . Most of the time I have to shove the TSB under their noses before they acknowledge it

Looks like they went on a looooooong test drive.
HAs anyone had the "farting aircon" fixed?

Richard, open cubby, grab the two guides on the out sides,
press them together so that it flops down all the way.
You'll find a round'ish fan housing in the middle of the now
open gap. Look to the top of said housing and see a
rectangular door, on the L.H.S you'll find the latch.
Un clip and pull towards you and as you want to touch
the dash pull left, out she comes. You will see a white
filter in the slot. Just remember when you put it back
check the position of the flow arrows and push it up,
as there are angled ramps on the door which keep

behind the cubby hole. Clip the box lid by compressing the hinge slides. It will come forward . Behind it you will find your fuse box on the left and a clip panel above the blower motor. Depress clip on left to release panel and pollen filter will drop down. Would send a pic but my baby is STILL in hospital.

Had mine done about two weeks ago. It took them three days to do my service and the farting aircon, but I was on the Zambezi tiger fishing so didn't really give a sh . All seems good now, but will wait until I've got some dirt miles under the belt before giving the replaced dash a clean bill of health.

Fuses !!!
Hooter (horn) stooped working yesterday - 2nd time in one month. Checked the fuse and it had blown, but ...............
soon realised that the two packets of spare blade fuses which I popped in there when I got the vehicle (in a Defender never leave home with plenty of spare fuses !!) is of no use as these fuses are much smaller. Tried to get the 15A spare fuse out, but you must have the hand of a 1 year old - eventually got the 20A out and popped it in - 100% - but there must be a bad connection somewhere or else my wife uses the hooter excessively
I have not seen these small blade fuses before - would like to carry a couple in the vehicle - probably twice the price as the standard ones.
Checked the aircon filter while there - not too bad - vacuumed both sides for what its worth. Where is the main air intake of the aircon Erstwhile - D3 S '07. Dual battery system. Upgraded tow hitch. Mantec skid plate. Frontrunner rr. Tmax double headed built in compressor

mini blade fuses are pretty cheap.
But these may not be a bed idea, would save fiddling to check if it had blown.

MMM Just chatted to landrover. New fuel pump and guess what.. The problem remains. cuts out under hard acceleration.
V8 comming soon me thinks.. not sure on this diesel thing . And that comming from a person who has driven diesel for years.

Sounds like fuel starvation, let them pull the the tank and pump,
and look at the pump filter. One of our comrades up north had
this, it was like a snotty algae on the filter cloth.

What is it about our diesel?
98% of my refuels are done at large volume stations. But i could see the snot in the glass bowl of my transfere pump. If it was fuel starvation the should be able to pick it up with a drop in the fuel pressure??
