I reckon you could get a 'long term test' spot in LRO or LRM or somethign similar, that'd go towards helping to pay, or at least get you some free advertising Bodsys Brake Bible

You been drinking it already I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

D3 is out of warranty on 6th July, so i have it booked in on 8th June for an MOT and a "health check". I was hoping to build up a definitive list of items I want the dealer to check for. Ive basically said :
"check and replace whatever you can under warranty if it looks like failing in the next 12 months"
and their repsonse was :
"thats not quite how LR run their warranty , but we will do what we can "
They replacing tomorrow the following items identified during yesterdays 90k service (£375) all under warranty :
Alternator : not charging at full capacity
Track rod ends : due to bit of play
Ive already had the following done under warranty :
NSR Brake Caliper
Rear Discs
Transfer Box front prop shaft seal
Brake servo and pump
Farting dashboard
Starter motor
Steering rack joints
ARB Bushes
leaking sunroof (drain tubes crimped by RAI)
Front Fog Lamp wiring
Is there anything specific that I should ask them to check, turbo, egr valves etc
been looking at the extended warranties but because of my mileage some are just not worth having... Duncan

How about front lower ball joints - they found those needed replacing on my MoT and health check LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

well here goes:-
Tallulah has had the following:-
1) New clutch at 32k miles, the old weak clutch and flywheel problem, however sorted before Morocco trip.
2) Front Anti roll bushes 40K miles
3) Leaking transfer box seal 40K miles
4) Rear anti roll bushes 72K miles
5) Both Front Wheel bearings/Hub assemblies 72K
6) Rear wheel Bearing 72K
7) Steering rack end Joints? 72K
8) Drivers seat loose required refixing 72K (Fat Git Driver)
9) Front parking Sensor Failure 72K
Still awaiting Repair
10) Air Con Damper Noisy 76K
11) Dipping Reverse Mirror fault 76K
12) Bubbling of door trim at base of windows on rear passenger doors
Possible problems
13) EGR Valves ( Sluggish take off)?
14) Transmission Play? slight clunk in drive train on release of the clutch (Manual of course)?
MOT tomorrow may bring up more problems but we shall see!!!!!!!
Booked in at Lakeland on Monday, Warranty up on Tuesday
so any one who can suggest anything to check your suggestions would be gratefully received!!!!!!!!!
Have to say been impressed with Land Rover CC when dealing with problems but decidedly unimpressed with most Stealerships reluctance to agree problems and deal with them, not the brightest lot really!!!
