They should. I opened a box once and there were 2 bolts and a shim missing, hence the (should)

THanks for what is the best info on EPB adjustment. MAYBE A STICKY as it took ages to find.
Just one question I never bothered with the Allen bolt as it wasn't obvious that it is accessed through the adjuster hole just at a different position....
Any thoughts.

Only time I disturb the allen bolt is when fitting new EPB shoes. Ideally, you would do it every time you adjust them, but never had a problem yet My D3 Build Thread

Sounds about right as I spent ages looking on the back of the cover after having put the discs back on...decided my 07MY was different and didn't bother, only realising later that they are accessed through the hole.
I don't think it will make much difference though.
Easy to adjust and a piece of crap design.....
Anyway after snapping the wear sensor I'm going to put a new set of pads on soon...
Cheers
James

Excelent instructions, adjusted my pads in an hour easily.
Funny how one wheel was 10 clicks until tight and the other was 24 ..... far be it for me to say but the dealer must have been adjusting oneside only, just enough to silence the warning light GOOD OLD STRATSTONES of Newport.........

Brake pad/disc wear-On my 2nd D3, circa 100k miles in total - never yet had break pad wear indicators come on on any of them but just had to replace rear discs at 40k miles which were absolutely knackered- when I asked why I didnt get any warning the dealer girl said there was only one side with wear indicators and that it must have been the side that was less worn(o/s)
What is the truth?
I cannot imagine that there is only one.
Always serviced at a local dealer at the recommended intervals, maybe I never got to the 3mm bit!
