How easy is the Brembo brake upgrade?

I know the V8 upgrade is guides etc but how different is the Brembo's as they could be an interesting route to consider.

Brembos are awesome Thumbs Up

And a straight fit. Just make sure you buy the ones from an RRS as the FFRR ones are different

MOT pre check says the front disc's are needing changed in the next few months so will price it up for this summer's mod.

Simply remove old caliper's and bolt on new ones?

Pretty much. Discs are larger than even the V8 discs, and pads can be much more expensive, depending where you buy them from.

The disc backplates are different, but not essential, and IIRC, the flexis are different, but can use your originals.

Expect to pay about £200 for a pair of calipers, and make sure they come with the pins and shims for the brake pads Thumbs Up

They really are great brakes although the initial bite is a little sharp at low speeds compared to non Brembos.

One point - RRS Brembos come with two harmonic dampers bolted on (hunks of steel in pic) which prevent you fitting wheels smaller than 19" although I think some people have been known to modify them to allow 18"s to fit.

They must have been found necessary during development testing so without them I imagine there could be vibration under braking.
