Does anyone know of a study but cheap 3 bike racks? I have seen the popular Thule models but I am on a budget, just in case I don't use it too much.
Cheers,
JAK..

I've got one and agree they are great, you can also put the bars down and use it as a platform to strap something to, I must say the new prices of them now are astounding, they seem to have shot up in price. I was at the boat show a couple of weeks ago and there was a bike show on as well with a massive Thule stand, the new racks are now more moulded (I prefer the old version for ease of cleaning and less plastic to break) and look very modern, you would think they would be selling these older ones of cheaper, seemingly not!

I know your after a 3 bike rack, in case that changes I can recommend 100% the Thule Express rack. Attached to the towball in seconds and is very very sturdy. Unfortunately the express only fits 2 bikes......but the fixing system is pure genius......

got one of those Thule 3 bike ones...used it twice around 4 years ago, had to change me tow ball to a 125kg one rather than the normal 70kg ball....
seem to recall I only paid £99 from Halfords at the time, might dust mine off and ebay it if that's what there going for

The OP doesnt say whether he has a fixed or removeable towbar. If it a fixed one, then the Witter rack like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/witter-cycle-car...43b83d0606
If you go for this type, make sure you get the 4x4, angled mounting plate, not the flat one.
works a treat.

Is there a cycle carrier that is fastened to the tow bar but still allows you to use the tow all for towing?
