Looking for silver HSE with black interior.
Would be intrested in PM from you guys on the dealers you managed to get the deals from , especially if in the S.East.
A quick scan of autotrader reveals:
A pre-registered zero mileage HSE (Black) with privacy glass and towpack for £40,999 - looks like a London based importer.
A brand new, unregisted HSE (also Black) at an independent dealer in Chipping Ongar, Essex for £40,950.
A silver HSE with black interior, delivery mileage only for £39,999 in Wimbledon.
A firm in Southampton is advertising brand new unregistered HSE's for £39,950
A dealer in CROWBOROUGH is advertising brand new, UK supplied HSE's for £39,200
And another dealer in Essex has a silver HSE, zero mileage for £38,995

My dad is just picking up our D3 TDV6 HSE auto, it’s a july 05 with 1500miles on the clock, pointless light guards all for the sum of £35,850. Previous owner is Land Rover and a whopping saving of over £8k over new, Its not factory new but its new enough and we are not that petty over 1500 miles and 6 months for that kind of saving.
I have seen 2 other HSEs for £36,850 similar age and mileage if your interested…

Hello Prawn
I take delivery of HSE with a number of extras in March. £41k Ordered from Wessex LR in Portsmouth. Much better deal than you have been offered to date although not as good as some that have been already mentioned in this thread. However I wanted to buy from a local dealership in case of problems. I thought I would get better after sales customer service this way. Hope this helps and good luck.

Cheers All,
Have emailed and spoken to a number of dealers and seem to be getting closer to what I want to pay.
Will take a while but it always does.

Kellogs I think you are right, if you get multiple problems with a car and you want to reject it, if your 200 miles away it is going to make life more difficult. I'd rather deal with local people so that you can see the whites of their eyes if things go wrong. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Well, now got two cars offered, both Silver HSE, unregistered 06 models.
39400 and 39500 (both before loyalty bonus and deposit contribution)
Off down to my local dealer in a minute to see if he can match the deal.

There are deals at this moment in time that are very good due to stock turnover and the numbers being under the targets. The one offered to prawn works out at about 12.5% before VAT, tax and registration if bought now. I think you could get with a push a little more or some dealer extras as well.
I have just struck a deal with a dealership today that is very good indeed for a new car to be delivered on 1st March and was even better than 12.5%, just waiting for another dealer I know to better it in the morning.
