I got £3700 off a manual SE by buying a stock vehicle near the end of the quarter. Just shop around - one dealer offered me £500 off and another £1500 off. Just move on...these things are commodities.
Their stock changes all the time. I bought an HSE auto 05 model a couple of months ago from them for £37,000. And they gave me £5k more for my trade in than my local LR dealer offered!
Downside though is that it was registered in Spain so the preheater doesn't work!!

Here in Switzerland,
the on the road price

is around £37,000 and that includes (as already mentioned somewhere) a 3 years Freeservice package.

Paid 2K deposit last Friday, the balance of 37K tomorrow for a new (well... it has 21 miles on the clock) TDV6 auto HSE, 06 model with privacy glass, towbar, bike rack, sky snowboard bars. If I could have stuck to my offer, I might have got it for 38.5k

Forgot to mention, but I think I have squized them so much, that they would not even consider to throw in some mats. But I will try again when I pick up the car on Thursday.

Mine is a more difficult position because i want to try and part ex my TD5.
All the Garages are offering me the same min price and putting a £1000 Land Rover 'loyalty' payment into the equation.
This all equates to a ' cost to change price' but when i take this out, the best ive been quoted for a Jan 06 registered car is £40750 but my local dealer wont budge from £41000.
This is for an HSE, Auto with Privacy glass and side protection bars.

On the verge of ordering the car now and managed to get a discount of £3250 and a superb part ex on the TD5 and for delivery at beginning of Feb.
We are not bothered about waiting for March 1st as we have a private plate to go on.
We have settled on a Bonatti Grey car but cant make our mind up whether it should be Alpacc or Tundra interior.
I favour the Tundra because it feel it wont show the dirt as much.
The final spec for that price is, an HSE with privacy glass, side protection strips and a set of rubber mats.
All in all we are very pleased and hope to order it on Monday.
