What kind of pressure / flow is there at the schrader? The rail pressure reading will be pretty meaningless until it fires up. If you are not getting a minimum 1.3 litres p/min at the schrader either the filter is blocked or the lpfp is shot.
But, the above is irrelevant if the original fault codes still present? yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Update, following Robbie’s thread….
Lpfp is pumping 1.4 Ltrs in a minute.
Pump pressure at the test point in the engine bay is a steady 6 psi, while cranking.
I rigged up a fuel pump and fuel supply to feed into the test point, the engine did try to fire twice but that was it.
I still need to dig into the engine bay and check the hpfp belt, a job for the weekend.

Open a high pressure fuel line and have someone crank the engine. Fuel should continuously spurt from the open line (allow for residual!!) If there's no fuel spurting, either the HPFP is kaput or the belt has snapped since you do have a good lp feed!
One caveat though, just be careful here as the fuel if under high pressure will hurt you, and never attempt this with a running engine!yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Hi, ok great will give this a try and feed back.
Hello,
What was the fix?
I am seeing fuel come out of the schrader valve so LPFP must be working. Fuel pressure MPa is reading 0 pressure, desired is 30.
The only fault code I am getting is P062A. Could the fuel module in the rear of the car be faulty? LPFP was changed approx 4 months ago

Hey folks,
my My13 D4 would not fire up.
History:
I fueled up, drove a few Kilometers and felt a little interruption in the acceleration. I´ve had not that mutch attentive to my Popometer (Buttmeter) that time , could have been a crach in the road.
so I was not that much worried.
Drove a few kilometers on the Autobahn, took a 15 minut break , tried to start, it turns but would´t fire up.
No fault code
After i worked trough Robie´s guide, i´m pretty sure my LPFP went to Walhalla.
Is here anyone who had changed just the pump from the sender unit?

I had this problem these last few weeks so maybe this will help.
I had to replace an injector seal for a leaking injector spitting fuel around the engine bay and chuffing, but after fitting could not get it going again for love nor money, days cranking and bleeding but too little pressure at the HP end.
It got started with easy start by The AA in the end, it ran but smoked and knocked like hell.
They said given the symptoms (failure to start, smoke rough running) they bet one of the injectors is also stuck open, so dumping all its fuel into the cylinder and not enabling the rail to build up enough pressure thus preventing it starting.
I replaced the injector that I replaced the seal on initially (made sense to presume that one was the iffy one), now it starts up perfectly (after finally getting the right part today, bit of smoke still but apparently thats normal for a few miles).
