Noise insulation of the engine cover.
I bought a part that I had been looking for for a long time. Now the car has become much quieter.

I have run with and without the sound cover and could not tell any difference and neither could any passengers It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

The sound became softer. That's my feeling. Plus.... from the old insulation there was a lot of debris in the engine

The main thing is that it is not combustible (fireproof)
The impacts of the various components in the foam can be seen very clearly in the photo. This holds and protects the components. Also against dirt.

Foam dust
Unfortunately, when they start dissolving in to dust, they don't do much good.
I have used some flame-retardant fleece (curtesy of previous hello fresh orders) which make a good replacement.
I know it flame retardant as tried to burn some and it put my wood burner out.
just cut the fleece into shape (i used 2) and clip the cover on.
