Nick, Ian
If my local dealer is offering to change the timing belts x 3 for 399 incl but they don't mention any tensioners would this still be a deal and do you think the guy at the dealer has this right as I found it very strange that thee would not be included.
Cheers KEV

Thanks Nick,
So the offer at the dealer is still good and should include the tensioners, all i need to do is think whether its worth replacing idlers whilst the belts are off? i take it theres just the 3 you mentioned above at approx £16.50 each? obviously the dealer will probably want to charge some book time to do?

Biggy 105k (7 year service) |
|
Hi Nick
My 2005 (D3) is fast approaching its 150k or seven year service (likely to hit 105k by early June - dont drive a great deal) and will have its 7th birthday around the same time...
Can you advise on what exactly needs to be changed and what the dealers do in the 7 year (105k) service. How much should I be expecting to lavish on it?
Many Thanks
Ash

Nick. Could you please check on the idler 1311306 for me please as my dealer has quoted me double for that part only? Perhaps some confusion over x2 ???
