The AA cover is a good half way from what I've read...get it as part of a negotiated package with breakdown cover Whistle Whistle

I think it all depends what level of cover you purchase, and what price you negotiate.

In my case, they have paid out for every claim where the failed part was listed in my warranty booklet as a covered part.

Perhaps it's down to how well the garage report the problem!

The AA cover looks interesting, up to £535 paid towards repairs with £35 excess. Have to get it as part of AA roadside cover but I'm covered through the RAC via my bank for breakdown. Will have a look on RAC, see if they do something similar.

The AA one can help take the sting out of it, but you have to be attended by them, you can’t just go to a garage.

Maybe the Indy has had a few rejected claims with WD, or the6 won’t deal direct perhaps, of all the companies, fewest complain about them

£35 p/month including breakdown cover and repair costs up to £535. I don't think its too bad really. I was interested in their car genie device too for £5 per month.

It’s not bad, but it’s only for things that stop you driving and prices have gone up quite a bit now, even a compressor can be way more at a garage

The majority of my friends with Discos have cover with Warranty Direct, and I have not heard any serious complaints - odd niggles yes.

I've had WD on current and my 3 previous LRs, and on my recently acquired SL350. Few claims, but what there have been have been handled without drama. It does help if your garage is "approved" by WD.
